Get into the Ponche Holiday Spirit

Ponche is a traditional warm beverage commonly enjoyed during the holiday season in Mexico and other Latin American countries. It is a hot fruit punch typically made by simmering a blend of fruits, spices, and often alcoholic beverages together. The ingredients used in ponche can vary regionally and based on personal preference.  Enjoy!

You can find what you need at your local Vallarta. Pick up fresh fruit for your ponche that is sourced locally and traditional fruit like tejocotes from Mexico in our produce department. We also carry all the dried ingredients you will need to make your ponche, including piloncillo (raw cane sugar), cinnamon, hibiscus, and tamarind.
