4 key limes, quartered plus additional lime wheels for garnish 

2/3 cup granulated sugar 

1 1/2 tablespoons Vallarta® Supermarkets Chia Seeds 



  1. In blender, purée lime quarters, sugar and 4 cups cold water on high 1 minute or until small chunks remain; strain through fine-mesh strainer into pitcher. Stir in chia seeds, 2 cups cold water and a few lime wheels, if desired; refrigerate at least 30 minutes or until chilled. Makes about 6 cups agua fresca.


  1. Serve agua fresca over ice garnished with lime wheels, if desired.
