Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Office Manager | Asset Protection and Security
Position Overview
The Asset Protection Coordinator’s responsibility is to assist the Asset Protection department with a multitude of administrative duties which support the team in achieving company goals.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinates and supports departmental operations by reviewing reports, documentation, and records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to leadership review and approval.
- Maintains departmental records, files, databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, confidentiality, and compliance with company record retention standards.
- Provides administrative and operational support to Asset Protection & Security leadership by coordinating projects, tracking assignments, and monitoring departmental deliverables.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for departmental communications, maintaining professional and effective written, verbal, telephone, and virtual interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates with cross-functional departments, vendors, and business partners to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support operational objectives.
- Reviews, validates, processes, and maintains documentation related to departmental expenditures, invoices, purchase requests, contracts, and other administrative records in accordance with company policies.
- Monitors departmental activities and follows up on outstanding requests, vendor services, projects, and operational needs to ensure timely completion and continuity of business operations.
- Assists with the development, organization, implementation, and maintenance of departmental procedures, forms, and operational documentation to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Coordinates the distribution of departmental communications, operational updates, policies, procedures, and other critical information to leadership and field teams in a timely manner.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality while handling sensitive business information, investigations, personnel matters, and company records.
- Identifies opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiencies while supporting the overall goals and objectives of the Asset Protection & Security Department.

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- 2 years of clerical, administrative and/or office environment or similar
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and Spanish
- May also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials at times
- Requires prolonged sitting or standing
- This position requires up to 5% of travel for business needs
- Typical physical demands or activities include climbing, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching and walking
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time non-exempt level position
- Commute to stores, as needed, to develop written policies and procedures
- Flexibility in schedule to work extended hours, including some Saturdays, to complete the job
