Ingredients

3 Roma tomatoes, finely chopped 

2 jalapeño peppers, stemmed, halved lengthwise, seeded and finely chopped 

1 small white onion, halved and finely chopped 

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro 

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 

1/2 teaspoon salt 

Tortilla chips for serving (optional) 

Preparation

  1. In large bowl, toss tomatoes, jalapeños, onion, cilantro, lime juice and salt. Makes about 3 cups.

 

  1. Serve pico de gallo with tortilla chips, if desired.
